Nuit AEX

Presented at Club Soda on January 21, 2023, Nuit ÆX stands as a historic milestone for Montreal’s club culture, serving as the official pilot project for the city’s extension of nightlife hours and dawn-selling licensing. During this 10-hour marathon (from 10 PM to 8 AM), the event transformed the iconic Saint-Laurent Boulevard venue into a living laboratory for the transhumanist imaginary.

A major collaboration orchestrated by MUTEK and MAPP_MTL, in synergy with the driving forces of the local scene—Shift Radio, Transmission MTL, and Homegrown Harvest—this odyssey pushed the boundaries of immersive scenography. Within this unique framework, I deployed generative visual environments capable of interacting in real-time with a cutting-edge sonic program, featuring artist such as Martyn and Danny Daze. The stage became the theater for a futuro-algorithmic exploration where data streams and techno textures merged to redefine the collective sensory experience and test the new frontiers of Montreal’s nightlife.
