350th Anniversary of the city of Nicolet

Nicolet Québec- CANADA

Created as the grand finale of the 350th anniversary celebrations for the City of Nicolet, Luminare was a monumental immersive experience that transformed the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Cathedral into a living archive of light, sound, and movement. This project was a digital bridge connecting three and a half centuries of heritage with a forward-looking, techno-creative vision.

As the Art Director of the project, I led the visual and conceptual narrative, turning the intricate geometry of the cathedral into a fluid medium. From the ancestral power of the river to the industrial awakening of the community, the stones of the cathedral became a witness to the evolution of the territory.

In this project, I integrated generative AI tools into the production workflow. In collaboration with Soledad Coyoli and Arnaud Grosjean, we developed AI-driven video content that allowed for organic textures and dreamlike sequences, creating a visual language that felt both ancient and futuristic.
